With the concept car Mixim, Nissan presented the vision of a car for the generation of computer kids in 2007 at the Frankfurt’s IAA. Above all, the orientation toward this clientele is documented in the interior. The 12.14 feet long study offers three seats here—a centrally arranged driver’s seat, as well as two other seats that can easily be shifted. The design of the steering wheel and the control buttons are oriented on computer games that are very familiar to the younger generation. The chassis form of the Mixim looks very dynamic, almost aggressive. The windshield, which is rounded like a helmet visor, contributes toward the profile that dominates the study. Triangular side windows, the flowing roofline, and the sharply cut-off back create a dynamic seldom seen in an electric car. Two electric engines serve as the drive. One of the engines drives the front wheels, while the second drives the rear wheels. This makes the Mixim with its low height of 4.6 feet and weight of 2,094 pounds into a flawless, emission-free four-wheeler.

Die Vision eines Autos fur die Generation der Computer-Kids hat Nissan mit dem 2007 auf der IAA in Frankfurt gezeigten Concept-Car Mixim pra-sentiert. Die Orientierung auf diese Klientel dokumentiert sich vor allem im Innenraum. Dort bietet die 3,70 Meter lange Studie drei Sitzplatze – einen zentral angeordneten Fahrersitz sowie zwei weitere, leicht versetzte Platze. Das Design des Lenkrads und der Steuertasten orientiert sich an Computerspielen, mit denen die Jugendlichen bestens vertraut sind. Die Karosserieformen des Mixim wirken sehr dynamisch, fast schon aggres-siv. Dazu tragt auch die wie ein Helmvisier abgerundete Windschutz-scheibe bei, die das Profil der Studie dominiert. Dreieckige Seitenschei-ben, die flieBende Dachlinie und das scharf abgeschnittene Heck schaffen eine von einem Elektroauto selten gekannte Dynamik. Als Antrieb dienen zwei Elektromotoren, wobei ein Motor die Vorder-, der zweite die Hin-terrader antreibt – was den nur 1,40 Meter hohen und 950 Kilogramm leichten Mixim zum lupenreinen, abgasfreien Allrader macht.
