Norway is not exactly famous for building cars. However, the Scandinavian nation has produced an innovative electric vehicle whose name alone makes people stop and think. The innovative company had previously worked with Ford. After the separation from the US company in 2002 and economic difficulties, the Norwegians developed the small car that they call THINK city, which is recommended as an eco-friendly and emission-free town car. The launch of its series production was in fall 2007, with the intention of selling the car starting in spring 2008. The small electro-mobile should be able to travel 111 miles with one battery charge and produce energy costs in the amount of three to five dollars per 62 miles. After the start of the series, Think wants to produce 3,500 units of the vehicle per year, later 7,000 per year. The company entered into a cooperation with the US manufacturer Tesla Motors, which has developed a battery-driven sports car.
